pools for every mood
Cape Canaveral is your launching point for out-of-this-world adventures to sun-kissed eastern and western Caribbean shores — plus our private island, Perfect Day at CocoCay. On the top deck, you'll find three pool areas, an aqua park for kids, surf simulator, zip line, basketball court, and 295-foot dry slide down the back of the ship. The idea is to offer short cruises on its newest hardware so that anyone who is considering a short cruise as their first sailing will see a clear delineation between what options are out there. Utopia of the Seas will be the first new Royal Caribbean's ship that offers shorter cruises first. Usually new ships conduct longer voyages when they enter service. A family vacation doesn’t get any more VIP than in the first-ever Ultimate Family Townhouse — a sprawling adventure-filled pad with three levels of incredible surprises.
Plus, more than 70% of all staterooms onboard will feature balconies. The inaugural cruise will depart on Saturday, January 27 and sail to Basseterre, St. Kitts & Nevis' Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas; and Perfect Day At Cococay. This voyage will signify the ship's completion, as the ship will officially be ready for regular service. Whether you're counting down the days until your Icon cruise or cannot fathom stepping foot on a ship that size, there's no denying that the launch of Icon of the Seas is a major milestone in the cruising industry. You’ve never had a family vacay like this before — with more onboard to see, do, play and conquer.

LET ADVENTURE
Like other Freedom Class vessels, it's notably smaller than Royal Caribbean's giant Oasis Class ships, but it still is big enough to offer a lot when it comes to deck-top attractions, eateries, lounges and bars. The back of its top deck features a FlowRider surfing pool, a water park area with swirling waterslides and a rock-climbing wall. For the first time ever, Symphony of the Seas® sails from Cape Liberty to captivating destinations.
How to Have an Epic Family Vacation Onboard Rhapsody of the Seas Royal Caribbean Cruises
Whether it's sitting by the pool, listening to the Caribbean band, or enjoying time at the ship's swim-up bar, the idea behind Chill Island is you can pick from different ways to take it easy. Chill Island is the name of its massive resort-style relaxation zone where you'll find the largest pool at sea, an adult only pool, and the first suspended infinity pool at sea. Five of the seven pools on Icon of the Seas are located in Chill Island. Icon of the Seas is not the first Royal Caribbean cruise ship to have a Royal Promenade thoroughfare on its ships, but it will be the first to introduce an expanded and evolved version.
It sails voyages out of the latter home port during the summers. There will be pools for adults, pools for families, and pools to simply enjoy the views all around you, including the ocean. The water slides, known collectively as Category 6, take up the back of the top deck of the ship, and are flanked by mini-golf, a rock climbing wall, and a brand new thrill "walk". Sun-kissed Caribbean shores are yours to explore onboard Symphony of the Seas® sailing from Fort Lauderdale. Then deep dive into Aruba’s colorful underwater world the next.

Scope out incredible 360-degree views from 300 feet up in the North Star® observation capsule. And experience edge-of-your-seat entertainment at the transformative Two70®. Take adventure to the next level on this Quantum Ultra Class favorite. Like the other ships in the series, it's significantly smaller than the line's newer Oasis Class and Quantum Class ships. However, it still is loaded with venues, including more than a half-dozen places to eat, three pools, whirlpools, a rock climbing wall, a miniature golf course, a sports court and an adults-only solarium. The newest Royal Caribbean ship is typically also the Royal Caribbean ship with the most bells and whistles and the most up-to-date cabins, restaurants, bars and attractions.
Despite delays due to the pandemic, plans are still underway for Royal Caribbean’s newest private destination, Perfect Day at Lelepa. The private destination will be located in the South Pacific country of Vanuatu on the small, uninhabited island of Lelepa. The beach is located to the west of the island’s pier, adjacent to CocoCay’s Thrill Waterpark. The western side of the island is still undeveloped aside from storage and housing for some crew members, so this is the first project to expand Perfect Day at CocoCay on that side of the island. Hideaway Beach, an adults-only area of Perfect Day at CocoCay, is currently under construction and set to open in late 2023.
When it's complete, Central Park will have a jazz club, walkup champagne bar window, and new restaurants too. In the heart of the ship is an open air garden with living plants that create a peaceful atmosphere amongst various dining and entertainment venues. If there's one major focus Royal Caribbean has with its new ship, it's it wants to up its family cruise game to a whole new level.
